"KAWALIS" is a documentary series that explores, through documents and testimonies, the scenes of political history, and reconstructs the picture of historical events and milestones, after some of their details remained unclear or missing to this day.

"Behind the scenes and their revelations" were combined to create the identity concept. Since the majority of the behind-the-scenes action takes place in closed rooms, and since the documentary reveals them, we made rooms with transparent walls and open doors to achieve it.

As for the dramatic scenes, we based our drawing concept on shadow and light, where the shadow represents the behind-the-scenes, and the light represents their revelation to the public.

We used a combination of 2D and 3D approaches to realise our creative idea. We used Cinema 4D with the incredible renderer Octane Render to create the translucent glass materials and emitting lights.
For the drawing, we used Procreate and Photoshop. After that, we used After Effects for retouching and the necessary creative compositing.
