Inspired by modern public art, Buddhist statues, 70s furniture design, zen gardens, and Eco brutalism. Chair mimics open hands in prayer, as well as the shape of a stool. Grooves in the stone, invite moss and lichens to grow, eventually adding green, shading, and age to the stool. Meant to provide a place to rest, public art to enjoy, and mindfulness reminder in parks in big cities.
