Studio Lighting

In a recent shoot I wanted to experiment with studio lighting, using the lighting techniques broad lighting, short lighting, side/split lighting, Rembrandt lighting, and key lighting. I took images of 5 of my classmates to experiment with the lighting. I wanted to images that I thought were visually appealing, even making the decision to use a blurred 2nd image as I felt it matched the feel of the image. This was all taken and modeled in an empty classroom on my campus as it was cloudy yet bright outside and it offered the best backdrop and lighting for the scene. I am happy with the results, but looking back I wish that I could have modeled the individuals a bit better.
