From the mouths of ThoughtMade themselves: "On the 14th of May 2010, the first of a recurring set of ThoughtMade events was held at Inkonst in Malmö together with TEDxÖresund and experimental nightclub WinWinTotal. With the help of cutting edge interactive installations and internationally acclaimed speakers, ThoughtMade aspires to become a meeting place for innovators of all creeds in the Öresund region." 

 

Vanessa contributed to this event with a presentation about the capabilities of interactive technology and how people can push and challenge social norms through the use of sensors and actuators. (See the presentation here: http://vimeo.com/channels/thoughtmade). 

As part of GeekPhysical, Vanessa and her partner, Dzl, ran the Biometric Social Interaction System, a four person exploratory game encouraging individuals to provoke each other into changing their biosignals including heart rate and galvanic skin response.
