The assignment of this project was to create a publication out of something that the students were particularly interested in. I had full control of this project from the content to the size of the book. The assignment was to pick a topic that you could document in some way, and I chose bracket racing because of my familiarity with it and my family's strong interest. I chose to document bracket racing aspects through photography. The design process included research on vintage racing magazines and some research on the history of racing itself. Throughout this book you will find lots of information about racing, my personal connections, and interviews of bracket racers who do this whenever it is racing season! In this BeHance post you will find an interactive flip book and a few of the spreads of the book up close.
