ES: Este poster ha sido diseñado para conmemorar el día internacional de la mujer. Inspirado en los diseños de la Bauhaus, el reto era representar la igualdad y el feminismo a partir de formas geométricas, generando un ritmo visual en el fondo que represente la abrumadora cantidad de personas que aún no reconocen este movimiento como un asunto importante y que merece la pena reivindicar, colocando en el centro un círculo morado como un bloque único (color representativo del feminismo) que ayuda a entender que para que el feminismo funcione necesitamos la unión sólida de todas las personas que entiendan que es necesario luchar y reivindicar los derechos igualitarios para todos. Además, no se incluyen imágenes de personas, porque considero que de esta manera queda mucho más abierta la interpretación y la representación del individuo tal y como es, sin rasgos definitorios. Igualdad es igualdad, sin importar raza, género o clase social.
ENG: This poster has been designed to commemorate International Women's Day. Inspired by Bauhaus designs, the challenge was to represent equality and feminism through geometric shapes, creating a visual rhythm in the background that symbolizes the overwhelming number of people who still do not recognize this movement as an important issue worth advocating for. Placing a purple circle in the center as a single block (representative color of feminism) helps convey the message that for feminism to work, we need the solid unity of all individuals who understand the necessity to fight for and advocate for equal rights for everyone. Additionally, there are no images of people included because I believe this allows for a more open interpretation and representation of the individual as they are, without defining features. Equality is equality, regardless of race, gender, or social class.
