Sächsische Aufbaubank
Architects ACME have added a spectacular building to the cityscape of Leipzig: Sächsische Aufbaubank. A traditional building typology is gradually dissolving into a forest of seemingly random columns. Those act as a transition between inside and outside, but then change into carrying a giant roof that covers the entire site.

An architect by training I create photographic images of places, spaces and buildings. Not much concerned with beauty or ugliness I tend not to dramatize, neither negatively nor positively. I analytically yet humorously take a closer look at the complex world of building.
