"Garuda Dreams"

How significant are our issues when we see life through another being's eyes?

The human mind today fractures easily from a constant bombardment of technological sensory inputs. Yet other beings, like dogs, trees and squirrels who are experiencing our world with us don't see our stress points as important. A teddy bear that's a childhood memory to a human is only a toy to dog. A phone that lights up with messages is stressful to a human, and just a flickering light to a dog.

This is an artistic exploration of how other beings see and experience the same world in a way that puts our own issues in perspective. Research suggests dogs see a world of desaturated blues and yellows; flies see nearly a 360 degree, blurry and black and white world; plants may see blurry outlines of light and dark; trees can feel attacks and reach for sunlight.
