Wordplay night last night. While working on an initial brand research when I came across the thought, how do you brand something that has been negatively percieved culturaly?
"Bathalana" or most commonly known to Filipinos as "bahala na" it is the tendency to make unnecessary risk in difficult situations and to be venturesome, reckless or courageous in time of danger.
"Bathala" in Philippine Ancient Theology is the supreme being and creator of the universe. So when you say "bahala na" it means you're leaving everything to the hands of the creator.
The letters "A" are replaced by arrows pointing forward can both symbolize "praying hands" or the motion to "go forward"
