The Aftertaste 2012 promotes the idea of inside curiosity and a night of encounters and invites us to confront the coexistence of inside/outside. Exploring this boundary led us to engage all the senses to create an experience of effervescence. Tackling the challenges of a low budget and sustainability, we acquired 88 donated copies of this hardcover book and utilized them in different ways to create furniture and tabletop decorations. I developed many kinds of paper construction techniques to serve different purposes, such as to make stable book tables and to mirror the two sides of the serving table.
