The Humane Society of the United States is a nonprofit organization that focuses on animal warfare and opposes animal-related cruelties across the nation. They help protect all kinds of animals from pets to wildlife, including animals used in research and testing.

Project Brief

Make an impact for animals that deserve better.

The audience HSUS has is grouped in with adults (often females) ages 18-30. They are oftentimes owners of two or more pets, rather than having kids, and are more likely to live a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.

The wants and needs of the audience are to learn more about HSUS's previous fights with major issues related to animals and all the animals they are currently fighting for. They wish to donate towards their cause, host a fundraiser, or learn more about the impact they're making and why it matters.

What is the most effective way to tell the audience that these animals’ quality of life matters?

When reviewing how their website communicates to users, we noticed it can be overwhelming for some, making their experience a longer process than it has to be. There is a lot of information being shown at one time, that information could be condensed into a few larger groups to make it less complex.
