This purpose of this project was to create a photo collage of an issue occurring in a country of our choice. After research several different countries, I chose to further my studies on the issues happening in Africa. The main issue that really stood out to me was the hunger crisis. Using images found on image sites as well as several of my own pictures, I edited them in various ways to enhance the photos. Many of the reasons why the hunger crisis is occurring in Africa is due to drought, agricultural issues, poverty, climate change, and government issues. To showcase that, I saturated the positive pictures of healthy crops, fresh food, aide from others, and resolution of conflict. For the other half, I desaturated the images that showcased moldy crops, drought, conflict, disease, and severe hunger. I really enjoyed this project and also enjoyed learning about the issues that affect our world today.
