Eat Me - edible food packaging

"Eat me" is a concept project aiming to visualize future consumption of foods and eliminate food packaging waste for the better. The "Eat me" project is imagined as an sustainable food packaging solution where you can eat the packaging with the food you are served with. Combining natural, plant-based materials such as seaweed, rice, flour and others we can create a planet-saving solution to plastic pollution.
The idea for this project came as we were suggested to come up with a "new-age" food solution that will hopefully help with today's food management and waste problems.
With all factors in mind, the second step was to design a brand around this "new-age" product. Since this is supposed to be a widely acessable product, I chose a fun design style.
The edible packaging was designed to suit a cake, but this packaging technique could be used in various type of ways. With the pattern that was created, the packaging was designed, and the blueprint for the box was created
Lastly, some sort of "tasting meetup" was invisioned, so I created two posters to promote this "new-age" food
