I was all about Tamil movies till high school, until this dubbed Telugu flick ‘Arya’ dropped into our TV schedules, around 2005 or '06. We were hooked, mostly 'cause the dude could dance like nobody's business!!🕺Next thing we knew, his Telugu films were rocking Kerala, and I knew the lyrics of those dubbed songs better than my morning routine!😌
Fast forward to my 12th, my close friend hyping up this movie called ‘Dheera’. I rolled my eyes and thought, "Yeah, right, fighting a hundred people? Come on!" But, holy smokes, my jaw hit the floor. The action, the moves—mind-blowing!🌟
Stumbled upon more and more random dubbed movies ‘Simhadri’, ‘Chatrapathi’..later coming to know both these were directed by the same man who did Dheera! Slowly but steadily, Telugu cinema had me locked in...
Cutting it short: past many years of dedicated watching—I'm no more in need of subtitles! The journey to a full-fledged Telugu movie fanatic!🎟️
And today, I'm happy to complete my latest pencil sketch capturing the spirit of RRR...✏️
