UPGRADE’23
was a congress for entrepreneurs and management from the technology industry that took place in Wrocław / Poland in 2023. Organized by ITCORNER, the congress aimed to enhance the competitiveness of the IT industry in a dynamic business environment. It was the first event of its kind for key decision-makers responsible for the development of technology companies in Poland.
Our goal was to create a symbol that dynamically illustrates the contemporary challenges faced by companies in the technology industry. Additionally, a priority was to enable easy modification of the event date for future editions of the congress, including the current year's edition.
Key visual
We have created a key visual element with "weather" as the central theme, emphasizing its unpredictability in the context of challenges faced by the IT industry and beyond. Weather can be surprising and unpredictable; throughout history, we have sought to interpret its signals and read signs to mitigate instability effectively. Today, we craft weather maps using a simple graphic language inspired, for example, by isobars. This is illustrated by dynamic, non-intersecting lines that reflect instability and constant motion, introducing an element of surprise.
