The Goal
is to seamlessly integrate the CG elements into the real footage, creating a visually compelling and cohesive final product.
To track real footage and add CG elements, I typically follow these steps:

1- Tracking: Import your real footage into specialized tracking software. The tracking software analyzes the movement of specific points in the footage frame by frame, creating tracking data.

2- Modeling and Texturing: Create or import 3D models of your CG elements. Apply textures and materials to make them visually realistic or stylized as desired.

3- Lighting and Rendering: Set up virtual lights within your 3D software to match the lighting conditions of the real footage. Render out individual frames or sequences of your CG elements with proper lighting and shading.

4- Compositing: Bring together all elements (real footage and rendered CG) in a compositing software

5-. Fine-tuning: Adjust various parameters like color correction, shadows, reflections, motion blur, depth of field, etc., to enhance realism and ensure that all visual elements blend harmoniously.

6-Roto mask all the elements from the footage which should be above the CG.

7- Review and Iteration: Review your composite repeatedly to identify any discrepancies between CG and real footage integration. Make necessary adjustments until you achieve a convincing final result.

Hope that helps!
