The Ultimate Smart Home Hub
The Tile V2 is a smart home control panel that allows users to manage all of their connected devices from a single, intuitive interface. This panel, which can be mounted on a wall and accessed via a touchscreen, enables users to perform various tasks such as running a scene, adjusting the temperature, unlocking doors, and more. Additionally, the Tile V2 comes with a companion app that allows users to remotely control their devices and grant access to guests, vendors, or delivery drivers. The panel also serves as a hub for various communication protocols, including Z-Wave Plus, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It is equipped with sensors, a security alarm, an IP camera, a speaker, a microphone, and more, making it a comprehensive home automation and security solution.
By creating a new product palette and style guide from the ground up, we were able to pay close attention to every detail of this smart home device, both internally and externally. We have also successfully designed the product in a compact and efficient way, maximizing the use of every available cubic millimeter.
The aluminum frame of the Tile V2 served as a structure to hold all of the components and also acted as an antenna and cooling system for the processor, reducing the device's thickness and the number of required parts.
The back of the Tile V2 was carefully crafted to fit seamlessly on walls and tabletops, concealing any attached cables while maintaining optimal performance of the sensors.
