Every April, Halifax erupts in laughter as comedians from all over North America hit the stage for the Ha!ifax ComedyFest. The festival showcases over 30 comedians on 14 stages across the city. There is also an offshoot of the festival that occurs in December for the winter crowd. Ha! Ha! Ha!idays brings the comedians to dinner at various locations across the province.

 

This is another festival I love working for. The usual design collateral is always required, but there is also significant signage that goes up around Stanfield Halifax International Airport. In 2013 I designed a life-sized standee for their Facebook campaign encouraging people to have their 'photo taken' with Mark Critch. Don't forget the rogue bus ad that fell off a bus and then roamed Halifax for photo-ops.
