The book "A Perfect Boy" by the writer Giselle Lucia Navarro is about self-improvement in a mix of adventures of a group of children from a special school. With the creative process of its illustrations, I tried to create images with simple backgrounds with the intention to focus the visual interest in its characters and their facial expressions.

The color palette was inspired by green subtones and some splashes of reds and earth tones. The main idea was to use violets and purples tones to bring some details to the front. One of my favorites images was the children`s desk, cause I used some yellows to resalt the light and the result was a ultrasaturated illustration.
Finally, for the cover design I proposed two ideas: the first one was a close up of the main character and the second one was an illustrated passage of the story. The author selected the second choice.
