CONDO DESIGN
BRIEF To create a cozy yet functional space for an artist, who wanted a space of their own, with all amenities a full-fledged residence would comprise of. The project is located on the top most floor of a residential building.
ZONING The zoning idea was to divide the condo vertically by a mezzanine that houses the open resting area with a small study and cupboards, for both storage as well as clothes for a single occupant condo.
This division enhanced the spatial as well as visual efficiency as well as aesthetic of the space, thus inducing enhanced functionality.
COLOR The color palette chosen comprises of Black, Oakwood, Gray and white. This combination was chosen to give a more sophisticated yet cozy finish instead of bright colors.
SPACES The bathroom was equipped with the shower cubicle, a WC, wash basin as well as a washing machine adjacent to the basin.
FEATURES A linear skylight was provided to increase the lighting levels into the bathroom without artificial lights. This Condo also opens out into a balcony with an arched fireplace and a recliner chair, in the same color scheme, which are further adorned by multiple potted plants that add a pop of color.
