Visual Identity
for AMI Festival 2023
AMI festival is held in Calcutta every December since 2020. It is organized by
Kolkata Centre for Creativity. It's a festival celebrating food, music,
performences and visual and folk art.
This is a primary design pitch for the visual identity for AMI 2023. I am presenting the first concept here, it focuses on the hustle-bustle or the buzz around a festival,
towards which people are rushing from every direction, like magnetic fluid.
I explored around this magnetic fluid inspiration and came up with motifs to use for the festival's various marketing needs.
For the main digital poster, I put the organization's flower mark at its location on map, and doodled blobs rushing towards it from all around.
