The concept for the resturant "Salt" is that it will be a higher class resturant at the Harbour Farm in Copenhagen, Denmark. The resturant will be more upscale than most resturants found in the city. It will be right on the Harbour Farm pontoon and be a place for a fun evening out. The oysters that are the lifeblood of the Harbour Farm and the whole reason it exists were what I chose to focus on in my designs, considering that they will be the main course served at the resturant. For this project I had to design a logo, a menu, a sticker, a poster, and a flyer for not only the resturant but for the resturant and the harbour farm combined.
The name "Salt" was inspired by the Copenhagen Harbour's salty waters.
I chose to work with a blue color scheme to remind the user of the water and allude to the fact that this would be a seafood resturant. I chose a dark blue and a light blue to mimick the lowlights and highlights of waves.
The menu would be one half sheet with the resturant name on one side and the dishes on the other. The prices are all listed in Kroners
The poster advertises for a promotional event where people would get to experience harvesting their own oysters and then having them to eat that night. This would show potential customers how versatile the Harbour Farm can be and, of course, how good the food will be.
