For this project, I needed to design a menu for a restaurant I came up with, which was a barbecue restaurant/smokehouse. I created the logo by using the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator to draw the lines and then colored the components of the logo as needed. I chose to use the more weathered and beaten font because it looks to me like the fonts you would see in a barbecue restaurant or smokehouse. I also wanted to place the sides in the colored box so that there would be contrast and so they would appear separate from the rest of the menu.
