THE STABLES
Gallop Stables, located in Somerville County Estate, in Kentstown, County Meath is the location where I began with visual inspiration. Lord and Lady Somerville lived in the manor in the early 1800's and built stables that were used for working horses, race horses and hunting horses. My great grandmother worked at this location along with other family members. Today, my Grandfather occupies and works in these aged stables.
Taking an indepth look at the location and their surroundings I
began to photograph particular elemets that occured throughout. Intriguing textures, patterns, surfaces and colours exsisted in their natural habitat.
