Illustrated a brochure representing the joint demands of the Community Health Workers in South Asia. The charter for demands is a call to recognize Community Health Work as real, valuable work! The demands were tailored to not only amplify public health for all but also to champion our rights as some of the most precarious workers within the public health system.

Across South Asia and other regions worldwide, Community Health Workers — also known as Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA), Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), Lady Health Workers (LHWs), and Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) — are predominantly women.
Community Health Workers (CHWs) serve as the pillars of the public healthcare system in South Asia, with the pandemic accentuating our critical role. Despite being instrumental in upholding the public healthcare system in our respective countries, governments continue to overlook them as official workers.
