The artwork explores the most searched musical artists in each Italian region from 2009 to 2014.
Each axis represents a region, while the pair of circles represent respectively the most searched artist (bottom left legend ) and the second most searched (bottom right legend).
If an artist appears multiple times over the years in a certain region the related circles have been linked to one another to highlight the recurrence. Some patterns are predictable such as the amount of research on Michael Jackson in the year of his death, Rocco Hunt after winning Sanremo Festival, Shakira during 2010 World Cup.
