Approach
For this album cover, I chose to listen to Piano Sonata No. 1 in F minor: II Adagio by Steven O'Brien. I associated the melody of this piece with that of classical paintings and museums. My goal was to create an image in which the paintings were outside of their frames while the photographs of real life replaced them. I did this because the song made me feel as though I was stepping into the painted world, escaping my reality for a short period of time. It is a relaxing piece and I wanted to emulate that feeling of calmness it displays so well.
