I was assigned this project to design a mask addressing an environmental issue of my choice,
while keeping in mind to use an art period as a reference to the style of the mask.
Roy Litchenstein's comic style is a classic example from the Pop Art Movement. I use his most famous piece,
'The Drowning Girl', and created my own environmental awareness version of it. While, focusing on the
never - ending pollution caused by major coorporation: Coke, I shined light on the overconsumption
of this soft drink and the amount of plastic that gets discarded wrongly into the sea.
I drowned the 'Drowning Girl', which in this case is Mother Earth, in the plastic produced by Coke.
