Mojokerto Batik is a authentic batik in Mojokerto. Mojokerto Batik has a unique motif which is derived from cultural tradition of Majapahit Kingdom, one of the biggest Hindu-Buddha Kingdom in the Indonesian archipelago. Mojokerto Batik has two color characteristic, which is sogan color that dominant with brown color (classic) and colorful color (dynamic). It should be appreciated that Mojokerto Batik is developed with a list of unique and distinctive names of a motif such as Mrico Bolong, Sisik Gringsing, Pring Sedapur, Surya Majapahit, and much more. However, Mojokerto Batik is not well known by the public. Therefore, the design of this book is made so that Mojokerto Batik can be known by the public. It is expected that public will begin to know, to love, and to preserve the art and culture of our nation possessed, Indonesia.
