This was a project to redesign the Guardians set of 14 of the Greatest Speeches of the 20th Century. The outcome is quite clear and simple as I wanted the speeches to be legible and retain their integrity. The colour applied to each speech was chosen on the content of the speech and the speaker to reflect the political tone or country of origin.
Each booklet also has a different pairing of a Serif and Sans Serif typeface chosen to represent the decade that the speech originates from. Also I chose the 5 most prevalent/important words from each speech and throughout the booklet they increase in size every time that they are used.
There are also illustrations in each book which visually represent statistics used in each speech.
