Since the early 20th [beggining of motion graphics],
artists tried to understand how shapes and colours could interact with time.

Since 70s to now, different areas absorbed motion graphics while
it got more democratic [specially with After Effects in 90s].
Movement [it's true and first value] lost importance
to other values like the still graphic design.
Machine won the battle agains the user, and some clichés have been stablished,
like the simulation of real world phisics in almost all animations around there.

My goal is to explore how movement can crate meaning.

] NO STORYBOARDS [
] NO STORYBOARDS [

In order to understand movement,
this video production couldn't follow the usual preccess.

Storyboards are the main structures that blocks movement expression.
Storyboards defines movement as an only-transition second class element
in a still-compositions sequence.

The narrative should be composed by a organization
of pre-producted movement modules.

] PRODUCTION RULES [
] PRODUCTION RULES [

Some rules have been determinated in the modules production

11_ abstract narrative _
22_ synthetic elements derivated from primitives _
33_ overlapping techniques (2D, 3D, programming, frame by frame)_
44_ max contrast of black and white _
55_ colour only as a composition element _

] MOVEMENT MODULES [
] MOVEMENT MODULES [

All the 50 modules were produced following questions, insights or sugestions
about movement and communication.

Here are some tests
[real world physics | temporal anamorphosis | movement perception |
movement | gestalt | time composition | optical illusions |
anticipation | frame rates | cuts | relativity | rhythm ]

] COLOURS [
] COLOURS [

Those colours should be a products of Black and White.
Iridescence came up as the solution, since it is a physical result
that shows all of those colors from a no-color object.

Soundtrack have respected the same values of video.
It elaborates different sound schemes,
exploring rhythm, different beats and flows, intensity variations, etc.
