Can a Colombian hiking adventure help youth worker, Miguel Ángel Acosta Rueda, with the daily challenges the youth of his home city, Santa Marta, deal with? With the help of adidas TERREX, he planned a hike away from what their screens and streets expose them to - “Nature has the power to transform lives and give children a little peace.”

The group of teens were equipped with adidas TERREX shoes, providing them the opportunity to explore nature by hiking Colombia's trails from Santa Marta to the top of Cerro Kennedy, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The hours spent hiking beneath the forest canopy, revealed nature's beauty, including stunning waterfalls. The reward, reaching the summit that peers down on the local children from 2,200m up, and the start of an adventure that’ll redefine what it means to grow up in his city.
