Work from the series "Eyes of Change"

My first painting from the anti-war series, the idea of ​​which I had been nurturing for about 4 years. It was embarrassing to draw a little boy covered in blood, but the war of 2022 gave new relevance to this sketch - and I decided to bring it to life on canvas.

This was the first work that gave rise to the “Eyes of Change” series, which I created after leaving Russia. It was a picture that gave an outburst to my emotions. In the Eyes of Change series, I used childhood images, military uniforms and blood as an anti-war statement.

This work sold quite quickly, which was surprising - it seemed to me that such a gloomy subject could only hang in a museum.the painting was purchased for a private collection by an artist-traveler, which allowed me to raise my self-esteem regarding my creativity.
