Brief

VOYAGER, is a curated travel booking platform that lets members book stays and experiences. A few members who had booked an extended stay at Coorg were unable to go on 3 of the 8 experiences they were promised due to heavy rainfall. As a good-will measure, VOYAGER has decided to give them a 100% refund.
a box of goodies will be sent to these members.

Creatively direct what should go in the box (budget no bar, it should just tie in with the story you’re trying to tell) + how it should be packaged . also write a short note (<1000 characters) to go along with this box that communicates the same in a delight-first manner.

desired outcome: increased brand love + organic shares on the internet
The narrative : Embracing Uncertainty.

The Note (to be sent to the members)

Some things are just out of our control. Like losing at rock-paper-scissors, random itches in the middle of your back, software updates occurring at the worst possible times, hiccups during a presentation, being stuck in traffic when you're already late, genes….Well, we could go on and on about how life is stupidly uncertain at times. It's frustrating, we know.

So, what do you do? You accept it.

Uncertainty is natural; it's the idea of losing that makes one sad. The rain was one such uncertain event, but don't think you've lost anything. Because we've got something special for you: a box of goodies. Hope that you get to feel the essence of misty Coorg that you missed in the remaining three experiences. What's inside is a surprise (unless you've already opened the box). We'll also be initiating a 100% refund.

As for rains, they will remain unpredictable. But there's one thing that we can promise: having a plan B ready. No, we're not planning to befriend meteorologists. We'd embrace spontaneity and make up for it whenever things go south.

See you again.

Packaging (box of goodies to go with the note)
Outer Packaging: Minimalist (Mountains. Merging of two skies: elements of uncertainty (as it's neither black nor white, It’s always gray.)

Items that would be in the box of goodies and why?

1. High-Quality, personalized rain jacket: Whether it's a last-minute change in weather or an unexpected downpour when you’re hiking/traveling, a rain jacket makes sure that you are  prepared for uncertain weather conditions.

2. Cookbook featuring Coorgi recipes and a set of local spices: When you’re uncertain as to what special to cook for dinner/lunch.

3. Wooden puzzle with a Coorg landscape or wildlife/ jigsaw puzzle of Madikeri Fort: Planned on going out with your friends/Partner/family - couldn’t go out due to bad weather or a strike or any uncertain event - solve this puzzle indoors and have fun.

4. Handcrafted Coorg chocolates with unique flavors like coffee, cardamom, and orange zest: A surprise visit or an unexpected guest, offering these unique chocolates can create a memorable and delightful experience.

5. Travel Journal: Unexpected layover at an airport, bad travel experiences, feeling lonely on a trip, unique travel incidents, all can be poured into a journal. Get to reflect on the journey so far.

6. Finest Coorg coffee beans or ground coffee, with a coffee mug: No particular situation as such. Coffee provides comfort in every uncertain situation, I believe.
