Halal Place Business Dashboard —
Web Design 2017-18
Designed a business dashboard for Halal Place to allow business customers manage their restaurant and franchises. This project consisted of user flows and visual design within the limited time frame.
The Problem
The idea was to design a dashboard system simple enough for non tech savy users, the target market at hand were business customers who had very little experience in navigating their way around dashboard systems. Many of whom were users above the age of 40 years, this created a challenge for the team to create a seamless user and visual experience that was simple.
Registered businesses have the ability to manage their pages on Halal Place through the dashboard. The dashboard allows businesses to take control of their information and content by detailing their respective sections. Businesses have the opportunity to review their customer reviews and flag inappropriate comments. This creates a collaborative experience between the business owner and its customer to further improve their services.
Using a modal system customers could easily edit their information without any technical constraints. It was cruical to implement a system where "non tech" savy users could manage their business content without tutorials.
The design provided users with common amenities that businesses and resturants offered in forms of tags, this gave a fast user experience by allowing users to select rather than type their amenities.
