This proposal consists in creating a typographic animation without using effects or digital téchnics for it.
Based on the animations of the documentary "Happy Film" of the austrian designer Stefan Sagmeister, I constructed the typografie with breadcrumbs letting the doves do the rest of the animation work for me.
The message was supposed to be chosen by the student and I choose to leave a simple message: "Yes Another Day". Both message and medium converge as a metaphor where the doves, urban symbol in most of the western societies, represent us citizens as intervinientes in this kind of environments. Methodically, in a group, as a unique body being, punching each other we try to live and give some sense to our lives. Even if there is no apparent sense in it. It's call surviving.
A proposta deste projecto consistia em criar uma animação tipográfica sem recorrer a efeitos/técnicas digitais.
Baseando-me nas animações criadas pelo designer austríaco Stephan Sagmeister, para o documentário Happy Film, construí uma tipografia com miolo de pão deixando que os pombos des/construíssem a mensagem deixada.
Sendo esta última ao critério do aluno e escolhi escrever "Yes Another Day". Tanto a mensagem como o medium usado covergem numa métafora onde os pombos, símbolos urbanos, representam-nos a nós cidadãos enquanto intervenientes neste tipo de espaços. Metodicamente, como um só corpo e aos encontrões vamos tentado dar sentido à nossa vida. E fazêmo-lo mesmo numa aparente ausência de sentido.
Chama-se sobreviver.
