'KESHAKALA'
PHOTOGRAPHY, CREATIVE DIRECTION, STYLING

Breaking the boundaries of vanity and the conventional sense of beauty, Indian women have a relationship with hair that is deeply intertwined with their self-expression. For centuries hair has been used as a weapon to show restraint, oppression, freedom and liberty alike. Being a part of the human anatomy, it holds the power to evoke visceral emotions impacting the desire to showcase individualism. The thread woven is representation of the entwining of these emotions.

‘Keshakala’ is a celebration of liberation and the free reign to express one’s identity in ways unique to them.
