Vishwaroopa Darshan

An image of one of the most important incidents narrated in the Indian scriptures. The Lord Krishna, the divine incarnate, presents his vishwaroopa or all-encompassing divine form, to his disciple Arjuna. This event is known Vishwaroopa Darshanam. It marks an important point in the Bhagavad Gita narrated by Krishna to Arjuna. In written form, the Gita is in fact a part of the larger Mahabharat Story, the longest poem in the world, running to 100,000 verses. It chronicles the life and travails, and finally the great war between the cousin brothers - the five Pandavas and the 100 Kauravas. Krishna is the advisor and Guru of the Pandavas, guiding them through life towards victory and mukti.
