MANDALAS
For this project, I did not draw these mandalas, I simply went in and filled each one with different tints, tones, and shades of different colors after creating color palettes for each.
MONOCHROMATIC
For this mandala I selected my favorite hue on the color wheel, which was red. I then built a color palette consisting of tints, tones, and shades of red, and filled in every part of the mandala.
COMPLEMENTARY
I chose two colors directly opposite of one another on the color wheel, in this case blue and yellow. I created a palette of tints, tones, and shades of blue and yellow, and filled in the mandala with colors from my palette.
TRIAD
This mandala is filled in with tints, tones, and shades of a group of triad colors. The group of triad colors for this one, meaning they form a triangle on a color wheel, are pink, blue, and green.
