Granulation effect in watercolor

Granulation effect
I always mention that I use handmade watercolors. They contain mineral pigments which create beautiful and unpredictable granulation effects.
But the truth is, some common watercolors also have this effect, like Chrome oxide or Indigo; the difference is, if they contain a single pigment, the granulation will be in single color.
It`s very easy to create intricate textures with it, all you need is pigment, textured paper and lots of water. A simple form can be made into a work of art interesting to look at.
"Is there something on your mind, or are you just happy to sit there and watch while the paintjob dries?" (c), as my favourite band sings, and that's definitely me, sitting and watching how the effect reveals itself as water dries.
Thank you for taking interest in my work!
