This book was authored, designed and made by myself. It is about my own personal experience of the risk of coming out as gay. It is written in a diary style following the events of the week. The book is designed to be unexpected through been bound on the right side ( which cant be noticed when the book is closed ). In addition to this every spread has a unique twist such as having to look through a mirror to read the page, a french fold and many more. This is to communicate how my family and friends didn't expect me to be gay and were very surprised when I told them. Also within the book are a series of image that are covered up with textured layers. As you progress through the book these layers are removed one by one. To visually show the process of coming out throughout the book.
