Buttonscarves X Disney Princess (Jasmine)
As a jewelry designer, I collaborated with Disney to create two ring scarves (scarf accessories).
When working on a collaboration project, we wait for the collaborator to provide us with the design assets. Once we have those, I design the jewelry (in this case, the ring scarf) based on the design asset chosen by my supervisor.
Since this project already has a specific color palette and asset, I typically begin sketching right away. However, I only manually sketch if I'm having trouble coming up with ideas.
Here are the design assets that my superior chose:
Initially, my boss selected two assets for me to work on. However, upon presenting the initial design to Disney, they requested the addition of the lotus assets located at the bottom in two rows. As a result, I had to modify my design to incorporate the lotus asset.

After everything had been approved, I went ahead to made the drawing and then sent the drawing & the 3D file to the manufacturer.
