Xenokratio Archaeological Museum / Educational Game

Along with client Xenokratio Archaeological Museum (Messologi, Greece), we came up with the idea of creating an educational game (in greek language) which would smartly involve some of its exhibits, so as to serve student teams between the ages of 8 to 15, who visit the organisation's venues. What if they could explore the region's history, while playing?

Τhe permanent archaelogical exhibition is structured in 7 rooms throughout 2 floors, presenting more than 1200 objects and follows the chronological evolution from the Prehistoric to the Roman years. We chose to focus on the findings which relate to the ancient theatres located in the wider area of Etoloakarnania.

We created a custom font & a series of cards each of which is actually a step for a theater troupe to reach the ancient theater of Stratos & participate in the ancient drama games. The steps are refering to exhibits that have to be found in the exhibition by solving some clues.
