"The Ring"
The Ring of Sauron, also known as the One Ring, is a malevolent artifact forged by the Dark Lord Sauron in the fires of Mount Doom, the very heart of his realm, Mordor. The Ring was created with the intention of consolidating power and control over all other Rings of Power, which had been distributed to various races and leaders in Middle-earth.
The inscription on the Ring reads:
"One ring to rule them all,
One ring to find them,
One ring to bring them all,
And in the darkness bind them."
The Ring possesses corrupting and malevolent qualities, and it exerts a potent influence over those who come into contact with it. It grants immense power to its bearer but ultimately seeks to dominate their will, turning them into a servant of Sauron.
