Paper Negative Photography
I took some of these photos with a large format camera that I made from scratch. I developed and processed them all in my darkroom at home with chemicals I also made.
Photos I took from my handmade large format 5x7 camera using Ilford Multigrade RCA photographic paper. The photos had to be developed in a darkroom with black and white developer to reveal the latent images exposed on the paper.
testing and construction of camera body. The finished product was rudimentary but functional as I was able to take photos with everything handmade.
Initial test exposures with a TLR camera to test exposure times and developing times with the chemistry.
During my internship with Sir Jovel Lorenzo I was able to use a more streamlined camera and process which yielded more sharp photos.
