Following Van den Braembussche's quote, this artist book celebrates the fascinating œuvre of Gerard Caris, with a focus on basic geometric 'building blocks'. Caris' reliefs, sculptures and drawings are based on the regular pentagon, dodecahedron and rhombohedron. His visual investigation into these shapes is referred to as 'Pentagonism' and possesses a strong scientific element.

It was an honour to be able to exhibit my piece on invitation by Caris, at his retrospective.
