Contributions to the FYP Project:
Guiding and pulling the team during the designing phase in Figma
My strongest contribution point is during the prototyping phase, as the designer in charge of the mobile viewport, I had the weight of mobile-first design, as a result, I had to create and modify my designs constantly to best achieve the best user interface for the project.  I mainly took charge during the designing phase on using figma’s prototyping tools (eg. how to make carousel, creating many of the final images and text icons guiding their prototyping process) and guided my team members throughout designing. I’ve made constant effort to guide the UI element designing process (mentoring our members in creating them, notableà Carousel, Chatbot, Chatbot conversation, icons, brand icons etc.)

I ensured that the important admin items were completed (Mid-point presentation, designing phase) and served as the team’s backbone for communication. I’ve taken backstage charge in scheduling members when doing interviews, wireframe, mockup, and final changes. I’ve also been responsible for updating team leader and members’ process when designing and relay tasks outside of the designing phase. I've learn to better cater to time management, since most of the time-consuming parts of the project conflict with many of the other module’s heavy lessons or submission deadlines, resulting in difficulty to keep an even pace with school, life, and project activities. Keeping track, organizing and allocating the tasks and conducting occasional checks is not only more effective and less time consuming when we map out the tasks and responsibilities and priortize the important core points of the project.

Serving as editor and double checking content before team leader's review
I took the initiative in doing certain tasks that were left out (eg. Presentation slides, Style guide, updating team progress, research interview, website analysis, site map, script writing) during the working process. In order to best prepare ourselves as a team for presentations, reviews and seeking opinions on our design. As one of the few members that has more time than the rest due to external responsiblities, it allows me more opportunities to perfect the work we submit as a team, and create a smooth clean workflow submission as best to my capability. I’ve also done most of the drafting and the figma prototype, setting the element that the team needs to copy over to other viewports. Seeing that I'm responsible for the design stage, I take initiative in setting up the road for my other members, while seeking their inputs and opinions to better draft my design. Being part of a team allows flexibility and can involve members working with each other.
