How to Enable Remote Desktop (VNC) in Kubuntu
Kubuntu has a built-in feature to allow other users to control the desktop. As with Ubuntu, you can allow users to access and control the desktop through a VNC client. Unlike Ubuntu, there are many more options.
Click the “Start” button and go to Internet Krfb Desktop Sharing.

Click the “Configure” button in the bottom corner and you’ll see a screen with these options:

To remote control, the desktop on another machine without needing physical access to that machine, enable the 3 options shown in the image above.
