This work was exhibited & won a prize in the “Youth Salon” the18th session, 2007, Cairo, Egypt. Also was exhibited in “All Art Now 1st International Video Art Festival”, 2009, Syria. & “Babel Kunst Gallery”, 2010, Trondheim, Norway. & The XXVIII International Festival Sarajevo “Sarajevo Winter 2012”, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. and Baltic Contemporary Art Gallery, Ustka, Poland, 2014.
The concept behind the work:
To touch the personal side of each and every one of us. To capture and record memories related to our childhood & our special moments with our (parents, friends, colleagues, and other people) by using notes, photos, or written papers that may remind you of situations that have occurred to you.
Project description:
It’s a 3 meters file printed in black & white. This file includes all the possible memories that may occur to an individual “ sadness, joy, success, failure, happy moments and unhappy moments”.
These memories are represented through pictures, documents, official documents, academic certificates, ..... Etc.
The sound is a combination of the printing machine and some musical instruments sounds, giving a sense of rhythmic different tones.
The tape ends with the end of the individual’s life, which means the end of his memories.
