Cotton Crimes

Every year the Government of Uzbekistan, one of the world’s largest exporters of cotton, forces hundreds of thousands of people out of their regular lives to the cotton fields to work for weeks in arduous and hazardous conditions. Some have even died in fields from extreme heat and accidents.

A big part of this cotton ends up in global supply chains and in our high street shops.

I designed this poster to bring awareness to the element of child slavery that takes place in addition to the cotton crimes website. On their website, more info could be found as well as a petition.
